As title sponsors of Bluebikes and in partnership with the City of Boston, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts is celebrating our nation’s 250th by looking ahead to the next 250. To mark the occasion, they launched a design contest challenging art students from UMass Boston and MassArt to envision a healthier future for all and bring it to life on a Bluebike. There are three limited edition designs rolling through Boston now — hop on while you can!
How it works

Pick out any available bike and use the Bluebikes app to scan the QR code. You can also use your key or the kiosk.
2. Ride
Hop on and start cruisin’.
3. Park
Find an open space at any docking station. When the lock-in light turns green, you’re all set.
